The Github Repositories Every Developer Should Know

Github is a vast treasure every developer benefits from. I also contribute, as well as benefit from Github a great deal. In this article, I will share the repositories that I follow or make use of.

1- Free-Certifications by cloudcommunity

It is basically a curated list of free courses & certifications. The list is prepared by the Cloud Study Network – a global tech community that really likes to share. The certifications are listed in five categories (general, security, databases, project management, marketing, and miscellaneous). Some of them are time limited and if you are interested, I highly advise you to go grab them before they expire.

2- awesome-repositories by 0xRitesh

This one is actually like a list of list. 🙂 It is a curated list of GitHub Repositories full of FREE Resources. Maybe I should end my article here, since I already gave you the repository of repos. Well, you will see it is a really detailed list and I am sure you will find something for your gain inside. Especially if you are patience enough to go through the whole repo. I’d like to give you a headstart by giving you the content here but you should better go to the repo and see for yourself. I should warn you even the number of main titles is 22.

3- Web-Dev-For-Beginners by Microsoft

It is a perfect repo if you are just starting your web development journey. You will find a 12-week course that covers everything from JavaScript to CSS and HTML. It is one of the best ways to establish a good foundation.

4- clean-code-javascript by Ryan McDermott

A good coder knows their way around how to write a clean code. Either you work alone, or as part of team, you really wanna follow best practices and guides when it comes to coding. This is one of the best sources out there that will help you gain that for Javascript.

5- bootstrap by twbs

One of the must know tools for a developer is bootstrap. And their github repo is here for you whenever you need. If you don’t know bootstrap, it is a “sleek, intuitive, and powerful front-end framework for faster and easier web development”.

6- vue by vuejs

I am a big fan of Vue.js. It is simple, it does what it is supposed to do. Vue.js is a progressive, incrementally-adoptable JavaScript framework for building UI on the web. It would be a contradiction for me, if I haven’t added it to my list. So here we go.

It is possible to add many more repos to the list, but I have to stop somewhere, right? I will be updating my list whenever I come across a repo worth sharing.

Happy coding!!!
